About the position
The Warehouse Donation Attendant at Goodwill Industries of Kansas plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. This part-time position involves greeting customers at the donation door, unloading donations, sorting items for storage, and preparing materials for store deliveries. The attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean work area and operating necessary equipment, contributing to the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers at the donation door and assist with unloading donations.
- Sort donations for in-house storage and prepare materials for store deliveries.
- Move materials in or out of the warehouse as needed.
- Operate the trash compactor and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
