About the position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Warehouse Facilitator for the Night Shift in San Angelo, TX. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and distribution processes, which are essential to the company's commitment to health and well-being. The Warehouse Facilitator will provide the first level of supervision in a manufacturing unit, adhering to established policies and methods to meet production commitments. This position requires a proactive approach to training, planning, and assigning duties to team members, as well as actively assisting or directing subordinates as necessary. The Warehouse Facilitator will conduct performance appraisals, address performance issues, and resolve any problems that arise within the team. In this role, the Warehouse Facilitator will monitor work operations and employee performance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and local policies. They will supervise processes and procedures in warehouses, including receiving and shipping, while overseeing employees engaged in verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Facilitator will drive customer service and inventory results for assigned material codes, acting as the Business Unit Manager's customer service champion and recommending actions to achieve service and inventory objectives. The position also involves developing labor, productivity, and utilization models to ensure that business unit capabilities are available to meet production rates. Coordination with supply chain partners is essential to ensure materials are available to achieve production plans. The Warehouse Facilitator will identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions to meet customer needs, while also aiding in system planning parameters optimization to drive accurate production signals. This role requires a commitment to understanding and adhering to Ethicon environmental and safety policies, as well as Johnson & Johnson's Pollution Prevention Goals and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Facilitator will work under general supervision, with the responsibility to make decisions that align with operational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the first level of supervision in a manufacturing unit to meet production commitments.
  • Initiate training, planning, and assigning duties/daily work to subordinates.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and address performance issues.
  • Monitor work operations and employee performance.
  • Supervise processes and procedures in warehouses, including receiving and shipping.
  • Drive customer service and inventory results for assigned material codes.
  • Act as the Business Unit Manager's customer service champion and recommend actions to achieve service and inventory objectives.
  • Develop labor, productivity, and utilization models to ensure business unit capabilities are available to achieve production rates.
  • Coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure materials are available for production plans.

  • Aid in optimizing system planning parameters to drive accurate production signals.

  • Oversee compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and local policies, and federal and state regulated programs.
  • Understand and adhere to Ethicon environmental and safety policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Technical Field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in supply chain/operations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Process Excellence/Six Sigma Certification.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification.
