About the position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Warehouse Facilitator for the Night Shift in San Angelo, TX. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing unit, where the focus is on meeting production commitments while adhering to established policies and methods. The Warehouse Facilitator will provide first-level supervision, guiding and supporting team members to achieve their daily work objectives. This position is not just about overseeing operations; it involves actively engaging with employees, conducting performance appraisals, and addressing any performance issues that may arise. In this role, you will monitor work operations and employee performance, ensuring that processes and procedures in the warehouse, including receiving and shipping, are followed meticulously. You will supervise the employees responsible for verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as preparing items for shipment. Your leadership will drive customer service and inventory results for assigned material codes, acting as the Business Unit Manager's customer service champion. You will also be responsible for developing labor, productivity, and utilization models to ensure that the business unit can meet production rates. Coordination with supply chain partners is essential to ensure that materials are available to achieve production plans. Identifying root causes of issues and recommending corrective actions will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will optimizing system planning parameters to drive accurate production signals. You will provide information to track and trend customer service, inventory, and performance metrics, while overseeing compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and local policies. Understanding and adhering to Ethicon environmental and safety policies, as well as Johnson & Johnson's Pollution Prevention Goals, is crucial. This position requires working under general supervision with the responsibility to make decisions that meet operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and customer service principles.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
