About the position
The Warehouse/Fleet Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of the branch's fleet while also managing warehouse operations. This position involves maintaining accurate fleet maintenance records, performing repairs on vehicles and equipment, and overseeing inventory management. The coordinator will work closely with various departments and vendors to ensure that all operational needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the fleet maintenance records are accurate and up to date
- Perform troubleshooting and repair to fleet vehicles as needed
- Perform maintenance and repair on industrial/mechanical equipment, some specific to the restoration industry
- General maintenance and organization of the warehouse, including personal work area
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and repair facilities
- Manage inventory and repairs of the warehouse and order supplies needed to provide service to our customers
- Communicate with individual departments relating to specific job situations
- Trainer for the respirator fit process in assigned branch
- Review the Warehouse and Fleet Coordinator Routine sheet
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous minor mechanical background
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Highly motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills/some experience with Microsoft Office
