About the position
The Warehouse Freezer Picker position at Kettle Cuisine involves managing shipping and receiving tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including coolers and freezers. The picker will be responsible for data entry, documentation organization, and supporting inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Double check incoming paperwork for accuracy of data entry and receiving.
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments for inbound trucks.
- Organize shipping/receiving documentation and paper flow.
- Assist with data entry related to shipping and receiving.
- Keep metrics updated and participate in cycle counts.
- Provide backup support for shipping/receiving and obtain PIV certification.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management and leads.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of prior administrative experience in shipping and receiving tasks or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain PIV certification.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP/Ross.
- 10-key by touch proficiency.
