Warehouse Freight Handler

About the position

The Warehouse Freight Handler at FHI, LLC is responsible for unloading trailers delivering products to distribution warehouses using powered industrial equipment. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in various temperature environments while ensuring safety and efficiency in unloading operations. Responsibilities

• Unload trailers delivering products to distribution warehouses.
• Use powered industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts to remove products from trailers.
• Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing 25 - 80 lbs.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
• Certification in forklift and pallet jack operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, climbing, squatting, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
