About the position
The Warehouse/Fulfillment Lead at RuffleButts is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and fulfillment center. This role focuses on enhancing productivity and improving processes while working closely with the team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and an expert communicator, tasked with developing performance metrics, training new employees, and ensuring efficient operations for inbound and outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse and fulfillment center.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics for team performance.
- Communicate and model job responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Lead the training of new employees and ongoing team development.
- Present recommendations to management for improving warehouse operations.
- Ensure efficient handling of inbound shipments and outbound orders.
Requirements
- Excellent internal and external communication abilities (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
- Experience working with a medium to large group of warehouse employees.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Understanding of pick/pack/ship and inventory control processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and NetSuite.
