About the position

The Warehouse Generalist I position at Top Notch Distributors Inc. is responsible for various functions within the distribution center, including packing and picking orders, preparing products for outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventories. This entry-level role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and housekeeping policies.

Responsibilities

• Pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pick orders as assigned and prepare products for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventories for products received.
• Perform special services supporting building or keying operations as required.
• Use RF equipment to assist in warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience, preferably with WMS systems.
• Ability to use specific keying tools and key cutting machines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with UPS/FedEx systems for processing packages.
• Ability to identify and prioritize urgent orders.
• Demonstrated ability to hit standards in accuracy and productivity.
