About the position

The Warehouse Inventory Associate position is located in Vineland, NJ, within a 3PL freezer warehouse that specializes in shipping frozen liquid flavoring in bulk. The role involves significant forklift operation and extensive use of SAP inventory management software. The associate will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed, and will be compensated at a rate of $22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks using sit-down and standup forklifts.
• Pick/pack orders.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, item code, or code dating.
• Locate material/product as required using a RF scan gun.
• Sort and store goods in refrigerated/freezer rooms.
• Fill requisitions, requests for materials, and other stock items and distribute to production workers / line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and staged areas. Check orders to be shipped against bill of lading and load pallets onto truck.
• Complete daily forklift safety inspection paperwork.
• Perform some freezer work.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice with flexibility in start times and work days, required.
• Stable work history or valid explanation on any job hopping within the past 5 years.
• Ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs. regularly, required.
