About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist at Lathrop Logistics LLC is responsible for managing inventory accuracy and handling obsolete inventory under the supervision of the team supervisor. This role involves using handheld devices for counting and verifying products in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and addressing inventory variances.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in distribution centers and/or inventory management
• Ability to walk entire shift and operate various material handling equipment (MHE) in a warehouse setting

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate cycle count of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as required
• Research and resolve inventory variances
• Validate dating of product in the warehouse and update as required
• Audit and correct inbound receiving paperwork and perform audits of SOP's as required by supervisor
• Respond to buyer requests for item checks in the warehouse
• Coordinate the handling of obsolete and at risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls) to include: identifying, communicating, adjusting and validating product
• Deputize for ICQA lead as necessary for the following areas: allocation of work between IC reps and specialists, monitor activity to ensure work carried out effectively, resolve issues as necessary, review processes to ensure correct execution, storage reconciliation as assigned
