About the position

CarParts.com is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our Grand Prairie, TX location. This full-time position involves performing inventory control activities within a specific department, ensuring accurate records of incoming and outgoing product SKUs. The successful candidate will engage in both digital and manual counting to identify discrepancies in inventory reports, research and correct these discrepancies, and provide comprehensive reports to the Inventory Control Manager for review. The role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our inventory management processes and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. In this position, you will manage and maintain accurate picking of orders using an RF Scanner, audit inventory management processes for accuracy and efficiency, and maintain cycle count accuracy through both digital and physical counting. You will also liaise with multiple departments to maximize accuracy and efficiency within the warehouse regarding inventory management. Maintaining inventory thresholds associated with the company database (WMS) and ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the inventory area are also key responsibilities. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to maintain safety protocols while using equipment and tools, as well as oversee the processing of RMA and RTV transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, standing and bending for long periods as required in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate picking of orders using an RF Scanner
• Audit inventory management processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain cycle count accuracy through digital and physical counting
• Liaise with multiple departments to maximize accuracy and efficiencies within the warehouse
• Maintain inventory thresholds associated with the company database (WMS)
• Ensure organization and cleanliness in the inventory area
• Maintain safety while using equipment and tools
• Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed
• Oversee all RMA transactions for accurate processing
• Oversee all RTV transactions for accurate processing to vendors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse inventory role
• Previous experience operating Cherry Picker/Stock Picker
• Minimum 2 years in a warehouse inventory capacity
• Excellent organizational skills
• Familiar with data entry systems
• Able to lift to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
