About the position

Join our Team at Ericsson as a Warehouse Inventory Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting production demand at our established production site in the US. This position is crucial for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth movement of materials, and overseeing the shipment of radios. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, directing workflow, and improving processes to prevent disruptions in both internal and external supply chains. You will be responsible for facilitating interdepartmental collaboration and ensuring that the warehouse team operates efficiently and effectively. As the Warehouse Inventory Lead, you will serve as the first line of support for the inventory team, addressing general problems and daily execution challenges. Under the guidance of management, you will implement coaching programs for the inventory team and work closely with all departments within the smart factory to investigate and eliminate inventory errors. Your leadership will be essential in executing daily cycle counts to maintain inventory record accuracy and conducting inventory analysis to monitor FIFO, aging inventory, SOX compliance, shelf-life expiration, location accuracy, and process violations. You will also apply Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to facilitate both manual and automated material movement throughout the warehouse and production environment. This role requires a proactive approach to managing various warehouse operations, including receiving, Kanban delivery, and shipping. You will also be involved in interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising performance, as well as addressing employee complaints and solving problems. Your ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, coupled with excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality work, will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Aid inventory team as the first point of contact concerning general problems and daily execution.
  • Implement coaching programs for the inventory team under the direction of management.
  • Work closely with all departments in the smart factory to investigate and eliminate inventory errors.
  • Lead inventory team in the execution of daily cycle counts to ensure inventory record accuracy.
  • Complete inventory analysis to monitor FIFO, Aging Inventory, SOX compliance, shelf-life expiration, location accuracy, and process violations.
  • Apply WCS & WMS to perform manual and automated material movement throughout warehouse & production environment.
  • Manage receiving, Kanban delivery, and shipping operations.
  • Interview, hire, train, and appraise performance of team members.
  • Address employee complaints and solve problems as they arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in an inventory role
  • Experience using RF Scanners, computers, tablets, and smartphones for material handling and day-to-day warehouse operational activities.
  • Ability to work in multiple software systems to govern the movement of AGV, AMR, and automated material handling equipment/systems.
  • Positive conflict and change management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-12 hours, in addition to lifting or moving 30 - 50 lbs.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude, able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office suite applications.
