About the position

We are seeking a dedicated full-time employee to join our warehouse, inventory, and logistics support team in Camarillo, CA. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift training and certification, and a previous military background is considered a plus. This position involves a variety of responsibilities centered around tracking and maintaining inventory, updating and maintaining the status of hardware, equipment, installation kits, and tools. The successful candidate will perform data entry of inventory information into a government tracking system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. In addition to inventory management, the role requires preparing and packaging equipment for shipment, which includes generating property transfer paperwork. The employee will also be responsible for preparing equipment for transport and disposal, including demilitarization processes. Organizing storage areas for efficiency is crucial, and the candidate will be expected to install shelves and recommend improvements to optimize space and workflow. Utilizing a forklift and pallet jack for moving equipment is a key part of the job, and the employee will prepare various reports related to inventory and logistics. The position demands the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, effective time management, and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work well as part of a team. Proficiency in the MS Office suite of software is required, and the candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Additionally, candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
