About the position

The Warehouse Inventory Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse inventory management. With over 20 years of experience in distributing and selling Asian food products through platforms like Amazon and various local supermarkets, we are looking for a dedicated individual to ensure our inventory processes are efficient and accurate. The position is based in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, and requires a full-time commitment with working hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, including a paid lunch break. The role does not offer remote work options, as it is essential to be present in the warehouse environment. In this position, you will be tasked with developing and implementing inventory management procedures and best practices to optimize our operations. You will track inventory levels, manage orders and shipments, and ensure that we maintain optimal inventory levels at all times. Additionally, you will be responsible for receiving and putting away inventory, which requires a hands-on approach and the ability to operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Your leadership and communication skills will be vital in managing the warehouse team and ensuring that all processes run smoothly. This role is not only about managing inventory but also about fostering a productive work environment where team members can thrive. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in warehouse operations. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and either Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese preferred) will be essential in collaborating with diverse team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse inventory to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse management for at least 3 years.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift.
  • Experience in implementing inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Fluency in English and either Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese preferred).
