About the position
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing inventory within a warehouse setting, focusing on receiving, sorting, and accurately storing parts. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate equipment safely while ensuring that inventory records are maintained accurately.
Responsibilities
- Remove parts from shipping cartons and check for accuracy.
- Scan parts to the warehouse management system (WMS) using a scan gun.
- Sort parts by location in the warehouse and accurately store them.
- Operate a battery-powered cart for inventory management.
- Accurately count parts in designated locations and enter information into the scan gun.
- Lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with using scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
