About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of warehouse related work experience.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
• Ability to work in conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
• Willingness to work hours other than those considered 'normal' to meet seasonal demands.
• Ability to participate in required training related to GROWMARK's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining operations at retail supply location.
• Follows maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
• Operates forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Assists in loading and unloading of products or materials.
• Drives and delivers miscellaneous products as requested.
• Stocks and moves warehouse product and material.
• Assists both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
• Responsible for the housekeeping and image of the facility and equipment.
• Contributes ideas on ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provides excellent customer service.
