About the position

The Warehouse Lead for Swing Shift at evo is responsible for overseeing a team of up to 25 employees in the accurate and timely processing of incoming inventory receipts. This role combines leadership with hands-on production work, ensuring efficient operations within the distribution center. The position emphasizes communication, training, and adherence to standard work processes while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the accurate and timely processing of incoming inventory receipts.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of up to 25 employees.
  • Engage in production work as appropriate.
  • Support product moves and transfers to additional facilities and third-party logistics locations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with DC Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and Customer Care staff regarding order status and issue resolution.
  • Train team members in production tasks and related systems.
  • Ensure adherence to standard work processes and guidelines.
  • Responsible for operational closing duties.
  • Fill in on the production line for absent team members as needed.
  • Provide regular feedback to DC Supervisor on attendance and performance of associates.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to operate powered lift equipment (training and certification provided).
  • Basic understanding and/or knowledge of warehousing operations.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and organization.
  • Enthusiastic, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Collaborative mindset to solve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Highjump skills a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to develop a sense of the big picture.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs using proper techniques.
  • Capability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods in an 8-hour day.
