About the position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our Transportation team based in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position is primarily for the third shift, working Monday to Friday from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotating Saturdays. As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by filling orders and handling products, materials, supplies, and equipment. You will also be responsible for training, coaching, and providing day-to-day direction to team members, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with safety standards and good manufacturing practices. In this role, you will build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment and manually lift and move products to restock and repack, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. You will act as a backup support for the warehouse supervisor as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, as you will be required to lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout your shift. The role is essential to maintaining the flow of operations within the warehouse and ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach and provide day-to-day direction to team members as needed.

  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
  • Act as back-up support for warehouse supervisor as needed.

Requirements

  • Some prior general work experience.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Certified Forklift License a plus.
