About the position

The Warehouse Lead at Coca-Cola Bottling UNITED is responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in various warehouse operations, including shipping, loading, receiving, and inventory management. This role emphasizes productivity, quality, and safety while fostering a positive work environment and supporting employee development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the shift supervisor in shipping, loading, receiving, and warehouse storage operations.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Address complaints and resolve problems related to warehouse operations.
• Trace history of items to resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
• Maintain positive employee morale and advise on care and preservation of items.
• Implement methods for proper handling, storing, and shipping of stock.
• Train and direct associates to enhance their skills and promote continuous improvement.
• Assign duties and examine work for accuracy and compliance with policies.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or 6 to 12 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance.
• Ability to utilize company resources and technology effectively.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules as required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and resolve conflicts.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to calculate figures and percentages.

• Certification in forklift and pallet jack operation.
