About the position
The Warehouse Logistics Lead at Niagara Bottling is responsible for overseeing the communication flow for loading finished products onto trailers and preparing necessary documentation. This role involves leading a team of shipping and receiving members, ensuring food safety practices are maintained, and addressing any operational issues that arise. The position is integral to the logistics process, requiring effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the communication flow to load finished products onto trailers.
- Prepare documentation such as bills of lading and invoices.
- Coordinate the loading locations for each trailer.
- Communicate instructions to warehouse equipment operators.
- Ensure timely communication with carriers for product collection and loading.
- Review operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform.
- Maintain food safety practices and compliance with the SQF System.
- Report any deviations or issues with equipment, processes, or products.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- 4 years of experience in a leadership role managing people or projects.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Oracle.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and analyze information.
Nice-to-haves
- 6 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- 6 years of experience in a leadership role managing people or projects.
