About the position

The Warehouse Logistics Manager at Ryder is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the Supply Chain Solutions division. This role focuses on managing customer service satisfaction, staffing performance, and compliance with health and safety regulations, while also leading a team to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned function.
• Manage customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Conduct staffing performance management and development of employees.
• Plan and schedule daily operations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and state/local/federal regulations.
• Provide off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management required.
• One or more years of direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is required.
• Advanced knowledge of logistics industry and customer/company regulations required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Supply Chain Management components required.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production required.
