About the position

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Logistics Manager in Lancaster, TX for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position is crucial for overseeing the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, ensuring that all aspects of Operations and Account Management are effectively managed. The Warehouse Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading direct reports and achieving daily operational goals within their functional area. This role requires a strong focus on customer service satisfaction and expectation management, as well as performance management and development of both exempt and non-exempt employees. The manager will also be tasked with day-to-day planning and scheduling, health and safety management, and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Warehouse Logistics Manager will need to demonstrate a high level of analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult problems. The role demands strong technical and professional skills, as well as the ability to make timely decisions in critical situations. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as the manager will need to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial, along with flexibility and self-motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment. The manager must be capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required, along with advanced knowledge of the logistics industry and an understanding of customer/company local and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within an assigned function.
  • Manage all aspects of Operations and Account Management.
  • Lead direct reports and ensure attainment of daily operational goals.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
  • Manage staffing performance and development of employees.
  • Plan and schedule day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and state/local/federal regulations.
  • Provide off-shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
  • Advanced logistics industry knowledge required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer/company local and federal regulations required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Supply Chain Management components required.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production required.
