About the position

The Warehouse Logistics Manager at Ryder is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the Supply Chain Solutions division. This role focuses on managing operations and account management, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve operational goals. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned function.
• Manage staffing performance and development of employees.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Plan and schedule daily operations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and state/local/federal regulations.
• Provide off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations required.
• One or more years of direct supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) required.
• Advanced knowledge of logistics industry and customer/company local and federal regulations required.
• Intermediate knowledge of supply chain management components required.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production required.
