About the position

The Warehouse Manager (Finished Goods) at The Wine Group is responsible for overseeing the finished goods section of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, quality control, and timely distribution. This role involves supervising a team, managing rework processes, and collaborating with other departments to meet operational goals. The Manager will develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve accuracy in inventory records, while also overseeing shipping operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of finished goods supervisors and coordinators.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory levels.
• Oversee rework processes to address defects or issues promptly.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures for finished goods.
• Communicate effectively with department heads to align goals and priorities.
• Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proven track record of high integrity.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Strong project management skills.
