About the position

The Warehouse Manager at Happy Distro will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and driving continuous improvement in processes. This role requires expertise in warehouse management systems and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices. The position demands a proactive leader who can manage a team, optimize operations, and maintain effective supplier and customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems, using tools like PDA and WMS.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and improve responsiveness to customer demand.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new procedures or technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with overall business goals.
  • Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and inform strategic planning.
  • Familiarize with and oversee the use of automated systems and tools, such as AGVs, to streamline warehouse operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations, working collaboratively to find solutions.
  • Be available for high-frequency travel to various warehouse locations across the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, with a proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency with PDA, WMS, and AGV systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Experience in the electronics or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is preferred.
