About the position

The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in warehouse management systems and logistics, focusing on optimizing processes and leading a team to achieve operational excellence while maintaining high safety and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with transportation management teams to optimize fleet operations and logistics planning.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in production planning and order processing.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs as necessary.

Requirements

  • 5 years of warehouse management experience with successful team building
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and shipments
  • Familiarity with production planning techniques to streamline operations effectively
  • Understanding of fleet management principles to optimize transportation resources
  • Knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) operations for effective supply chain management
  • Ability to develop transportation planning strategies that enhance delivery efficiency
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and other Windows-based applications
  • Analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
