About the position

The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating the layout of the warehouse, and ensuring the safe operation of warehouse equipment. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for receiving and distributing materials across multiple locations, conducting audits, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout of warehouse and storage areas for efficient space utilization.
• Verify all products, quantities, and serial numbers are correct.
• Purchase small tools and materials stocked in the warehouse.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials at multiple locations.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Conduct quarterly audits to ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
• Safely operate forklift and other machinery for loading, unloading, sorting, and staging materials.
• Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and ensuring safety and security.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Experience in warehouse management is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook is required.
• Strong decision-making and time management skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Nice-to-haves

• Electrical supply knowledge is a plus.
• Fishbowl experience is a plus.
• 1ERP asset management experience is a plus.
