About the position

The position involves overseeing outbound operations in a high-volume, multi-shift distribution center. The role includes leading a team of salaried supervisors and managing a large workforce to ensure efficient order fulfillment and compliance with operational procedures. The focus is on optimizing resources, improving processes, and fostering a positive work environment for team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations in a high-volume distribution center.
• Lead up to 4 salaried supervisors and provide indirect leadership for up to 100 non-exempt team members.
• Manage product receipt, order fulfillment, and resource optimization to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and identify process improvements.
• Promote employee engagement and empowerment programs.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify process variations and communicate issues to leadership.
• Support Distribution Center projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop engagement and recognition programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Manage the development process for salaried supervisors, including training and performance management.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities using LEAN, DMAIC, and Six Sigma principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, multi-shift operation.
