About the position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective utilization of warehouse areas, ensuring proper loading, unloading, stocking, and safekeeping of items to maintain product quality and prevent damage. This role involves developing quality improvement initiatives, managing warehouse design, and implementing inventory control principles. The Warehouse Manager will coordinate with various departments, promote the use of internal ERP systems, and ensure accuracy in product inventory through regular cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective utilization of warehouse areas and maintain proper loading, unloading, stocking, and safekeeping of items.
• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the warehouse.
• Develop and manage quality improvement initiatives.
• Plan warehouse layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
• Monitor the flow of goods and implement First-In First-Out (FIFO) method.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Department and Production Facility regarding incoming deliveries and finished goods transfers.
• Ensure accuracy of product inventory against system records by conducting periodic cycle counts.
• Evaluate and analyze inventory variance and implement preventive countermeasures.
• Communicate daily with Management/Operations team about customer inventory tracking.
• Supervise warehouse staff and manage product rework to meet customer demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Manufacturing.
• 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management; 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant software.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze and identify problems and implement solutions.
• Expert attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with distribution center operations.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles, 5S, and other efficiency methodologies.
• Understanding and fulfillment of ecommerce orders.
