The Warehouse Manager will supervise the receipt and shipment of freight and parcels, ensuring that all inventory purchase orders are accurately processed in the university's systems, including Banner and FAMIS. This role also involves maintaining the integrity of warehousing processes and asset inventory, as well as optimizing inventory levels by depleting obsolete items and replenishing stock as needed. In addition to supervising daily operations, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for approving staff work order time and timesheets, conducting yearly inventory audits, and engaging with skilled trades to update or add inventory items. The position requires proactive communication with vendors to secure the best pricing for inventory replenishment and to manage purchase orders effectively. The Warehouse Manager will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and managing a P-card for warehouse purchases. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of the university's facilities management services and requires a strong commitment to customer service and process improvement. The Warehouse Manager will work Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, although adjustments may be made to accommodate customer needs. Additional hours may be required as necessary, and regular attendance is expected.
