We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for the leadership and management of the people, processes, technologies, and strategies in the Railing Warehouse, specifically materials handling, co-pack/kitting, and other warehouse functions including inventory control. As a Trex Warehouse Manager, you will work with key business partners of the business (Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Finance) to support the development and delivery of the distribution strategy to further business growth. Responsibilities

  • Put safety first - Always!
  • Lead a complex warehouse operation focused on delivering superior service to our customers while managing costs, improving processes/quality and meeting company objectives.
  • Oversight of a 2-shift operation encompassing a 475k sq. ft. warehouse operation with copack/kitting operations, marketing/ecommerce, and fulfillment of retail and pro-channel customer orders.
  • Support an environment of continuous improvement by leading from the front to support the growth of the business.
  • Develop budgets and provide strong expense management.
  • Coordinate with transportation manager the needs of the site and provide feedback relative to rates, contracts, and carrier performance.
  • Work with the supply chain group to ensure proper procedures are in place to support inventory accuracy exceeding 98%.
  • Support the development of talent within the site as well as developing a talent bench of future leaders through mentoring and coaching practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience working in warehousing or logistics.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Supply chain and manufacturing experience are highly desired.
  • Previous leadership experience as a Logistics or Warehouse Supervisor.
