About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking experienced Warehouse/Material Coordinators for project work at a large construction site in the Pasadena, TX area. The role involves managing various materials, ensuring stock organization, and maintaining stock levels to support construction activities. Candidates should be prepared for a regular schedule with potential overtime and weekend work as the project progresses.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in an industrial warehouse setting.
• Forklift experience required.
• Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to pass all required Safety Council Courses.

Responsibilities

• Insure stock is organized and stock levels are maintained.
• Receive deliveries and update the database.
• Stage materials ahead of planned construction activities.
• Supervise lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products using conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks.
• Study receiving or shipping notices and requests for movement of materials to develop schedules for material handling activities.
• Confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate the flow of materials or products.
• Verify or prepare records such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Benefits

• Per diem of $80 a day for candidates living outside the area.
• Overtime after 40 hours worked is paid at time-and-a-half.
