Warehouse Material Handler (up to $18.50/hour)

About the position

The Warehouse Material Handler at Brownells, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products to and from delivery trucks at the Mocksville, NC facility. This full-time position involves operating specialized machinery after receiving certified training, contributing to a community dedicated to outdoor and shooting interests.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload products from delivery trucks
• Verify and document received products
• Operate pallet jacks and other hand-operated machinery
• Maintain and inspect company vehicles
• Handle hazardous materials following safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing process improvements
• Stock products and manage inventory
• Assist with local deliveries and special events as needed

Requirements

• Forklift certification or experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and hand scanners
• Clear verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Haz-Mat shipping and safety guidelines
