Warehouse Material Handler

About the position

The Warehouse Material Handler at Cold-Link Logistics is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of products in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment. This role involves operating modern material handling equipment and ensuring high standards of safety and quality in the handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively as a team player to meet daily service demands.
• Operate power industrial equipment safely and effectively, including pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Load and unload trailers, managing pallets in high-level storage racks.
• Stack cases onto pallets accurately and in a timely manner using proper lifting techniques.
• Count and check materials to ensure they meet food quality standards.
• Use hand-held and vehicle-mounted radio frequency scanners for inventory management.
• Maintain clean work areas suitable for food storage and distribution.
• Work safely and efficiently, optimizing time on the job.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of warehouse equipment experience, including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods in a cold environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle products manually and with equipment.
• Basic math skills for daily warehousing tasks.
• Willingness to follow and support all safety policies and procedures.

• Base pay of $19.75 per hour with a $2.00 per hour night shift differential.
