About the position

The Warehouse Materials Coordinator II at ONE Gas is responsible for providing materials support and related services across all service areas. This role involves managing inventory, processing material requests, and ensuring efficient operations within the materials distribution center. The coordinator will utilize various tools and equipment to handle materials, maintain records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials support and related services for operations in all service areas.
• Issue and receive materials, stock shelves, retrieve items from shelves, and package items for shipping.
• Create material replenishment requisitions and coordinate transfers in and out of materials distribution center and/or satellite locations.
• Process material requests by reviewing documentation and coordinating requests with various stakeholders.
• Assist in the review of satellite transfers of materials from materials distribution center or other locations.
• Identify material levels and communicate adjustments in replenishment of quantities.
• Identify and resolve incorrect shipment of material and expedite material as required.
• Compile, maintain, and prepare records and reports including inventory reports, material usage, and freight cost reports.

Requirements

• Preferred Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years' experience in supply chain administration preferred.
• Working knowledge in reading and interpreting various types of company forms and documents.
• Ability to research and resolve purchase order and inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated ability in the use of office equipment and applicable software.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior work experience with Oracle ERP system and Meter Management System (MMS).
• Preferred Occupational Safety & Health Admin (OSHA) Forklift Certification.
• DOT Medical card, as required for certain MDC locations.
