About the position
The Warehouse Management System (WMS) Manager is responsible for overseeing the WMS operations and ensuring the system is properly configured, maintained, and optimized to meet business needs. This role involves working closely with the warehouse team to enhance inventory management and improve warehouse efficiency through effective system management and user training.
Responsibilities
- System Configuration, including setting up parameters, defining workflows, and creating rules for inventory management.
- System Maintenance to ensure the system is properly maintained and updated, identifying and resolving system issues, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring functionality.
- User Training on the proper use of the system, including creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support.
- Data Analysis from the system to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
- System Integration with other systems, such as ERP or order management systems, to ensure seamless data flow.
- Technical Support for the DHL site team and customers, developing and executing test and project plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a similar field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of transportation or logistics experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
