About the position

Certco, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Office Clerk to help provide support for our receiving shift and keep our operation running smoothly. This role is essential in ensuring that our distribution environment operates efficiently and effectively. As a Warehouse Office Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of our grocery distribution operations. You will play a vital role in checking in vendor appointments, editing receipts to match provided purchase orders, preparing driver paperwork, and invoicing for store deliveries. Additionally, you will be answering telephones, scheduling receiving at our Femrite location, and performing traffic controller responsibilities. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Responsibilities

  • Check in over the road drivers and verify their appointments and purchase orders for the Femrite location.
  • Edit Certco receipts to match provided Bill of Lading from vendors.
  • Prepare driver paperwork according to the AM Board.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics Navision to complete invoicing for store delivery.
  • Answer telephones after office business hours.
  • Schedule receiving for Femrite location.
  • Perform traffic controller duties, including verifying the accuracy of the Trailer Log and ensuring designated controls are active and functioning properly.
  • Enforce parking regulations for trucks in designated areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse receiving duties.
  • Skill in using computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining a productive workstation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
