About the position

The Warehouse Operations Clerk is responsible for managing the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate processing of orders, and maintaining effective communication with customers and carriers. This role involves coordinating logistics, verifying documentation, and collaborating with various departments to achieve operational goals while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, engaging customers and vendors/3rd party carriers.
• Ensure accurate and timely receipt of merchandise and recording of key scheduling metrics.
• Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments including inter-transfers and vendor transfers.
• Assist Manager with documentation and verification for customer invoicing and recording shortages.
• Partner with other Department Managers to achieve overall shift and building goals.
• Reconcile any receiving discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity.
• Assist in order processing and reduction of shorts.
• Become a Super user of High Jump WMS and Account Mate for daily tasks.
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments regarding discrepancies and resolutions.
• Comply with all GMP, Safety/OSHA training and reporting.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (a plus).
• Basic understanding of warehousing, inventory control, inbound loading, and general logistics.
• Experience using RF technology and computerized inventory systems or understanding of WMS platforms.
• At least 2 years' experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in High Jump/Manhattan/JDA WMS.
• Experience in Account Mate/SAP.
• Knowledge of food distributor/3rd party warehouse operations.
• Experience in shipping/receiving office functions.
• Advanced knowledge of inbound, shipping, and control tasks/functions.
