About the position

The Warehouse Operations Analyst at SDI, Inc. serves as a crucial link between the company's operations and its clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and effective storeroom operations. This role involves problem-solving, relationship-building, and communication to deliver exceptional customer service while managing various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of parts to client sites.
• Perform production planning for customer areas and manage reports to track work status.
• Run match exception reports and analyze root causes of errors.
• Create action plans to resolve operational issues.
• Conduct inventory analysis and reconciliation of cycle counting events.
• Communicate delivery expectations to clients.
• Manage corrective action plans for Best In Class (BIC) operations.
• Oversee Return To Vendor (RTV) processes including repair tracking.
• Provide backup support to the Site Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent industry experience.
• Supervisory and project management experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unaided; higher weights using equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and familiarity with warehouse ERP software.
• Past experience in a maintenance or repair environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in an industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and dirt.
