About the position

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing time-sensitive supply chain communication among various departments and external parties within a Fortune 500 organization. This role involves overseeing urgent communications regarding shipments, order management, and resolving discrepancies, while also providing an opportunity for potential permanent hire after the contract period.

Responsibilities

  • Own the centralized Warehouse Operations email inbox and all accompanying communication with Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, Supply Planning, and 3rd party personnel.
  • Responsible for all system-related order management and daily reporting activities.
  • Respond to email inquiries within 60 minutes during working hours.
  • Ensure accurate and timely shipment of orders.
  • Resolve daily shipment discrepancies on intercompany orders.
  • Keep orders flowing efficiently by maintaining a clear system of hold-ups.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, Supply Planning, and 3rd party personnel.
  • Perform data entry tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Efficient and organized work style.
  • Ability to understand the Order to Cash process and its impact on the Warehouse Operations team.
  • Ability to learn and understand system processing and EDI transactions.
  • Excel skills - ability to manipulate data using standard formulas/functionality (pivot tables, etc.) and in templates created by others.
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and perform time-sensitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
