As our Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you will have full ownership over warehouse operations and work with all levels of the organization to ensure our warehouse operates smoothly and that our team has the materials they need. In this role, you will unload delivery vehicles, receive inventory, purchase and organize products, deliver materials to job sites, ensure equipment is in working order, and maintain a clean working environment. This will require you to lift and move inventory around a working warehouse as well as operate vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining a strong product knowledge and a positive working relationship with all team members throughout the company. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the procurement, receipt, and inventory management of electrical components and materials.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Process orders, including order entry, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Track order status and communicate updates.
  • Resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate project material logistics and deliveries/pickups.
  • Ensure compliance and safety standards.
  • Manage transportation costs and optimize delivery/pickup routes.
  • Assist the estimating team by gathering data and information needed for project bids and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records, including invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and logistics performance.
  • Collaborate effectively and professionally with internal teams, including vendors, suppliers, office staff and project managers, address inquiries and resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fleet vehicles.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of all fleet assets and equipment.
  • Develop plans for emergency situations such as accidents or breakdowns and ensure drivers are equipped with necessary tools and information for emergencies.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products is a plus.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently without being micromanaged, as well as be an effective member of a team.
  • Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards.
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.
  • Must have a clean driving record and possession of valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preference will be given to those who have obtained a Forklift Certification.
  • Heavy equipment operation experience (1 year preferred).
