Warehouse Operations Leader

About the position

The position involves overseeing the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including service shops. The role requires management of front-line warehouse employees and focuses on executing activities within established functional practices and procedures, with some autonomy and the need for judgment under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line warehouse employees.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Using prior experience and warehouse expertise to execute policy and strategy.
• Understanding key business drivers to accomplish work.
• Integrating team work with other teams to contribute to departmental goals.
• Proposing different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance.
• Solving straightforward tasks using technical skills and analytic thinking.
• Providing informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant job functions.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in relevant job functions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Established project management skills.
