About the position

The Warehouse Operations Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe management of warehouse operations within a logistics environment. This position plays a crucial role in driving productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction by leading a dedicated team, managing logistics processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about optimizing operations and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion a zero-accident culture by developing and directing safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and MSDS guidelines.
• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Manage labor scheduling, space utilization, and equipment to optimize operations.
• Lead the preparation, processing, and retention of reports related to warehouse activities.
• Identify and implement methods to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize warehouse performance.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor warehouse staff to foster a collaborative environment.
• Interface with customers and facility visitors to showcase warehouse capabilities.
• Oversee facility maintenance, utilities, and security.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years' experience managing warehouses.
• Proven experience with third-party logistics (3PL) software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel required; Outlook recommended).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor personnel.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• College degree preferred.
