The Warehouse Operations Technician position is a critical role within the warehouse operations team, functioning under the general direction of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor. This position involves moderately complex tasks related to warehouse operations, including receiving, deliveries, uniform outfitting, imprinting services production, fixed asset management, and inventory supply administration. The technician will be cross-trained in all functions of the position, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in assignments, which may change at the supervisor's discretion. The work performed in this role is reviewed through observation and the results obtained, ensuring that operational standards are met and maintained. In this role, the technician will engage in various essential functions, such as performing material handling and inventory administration activities. This includes loading and unloading materials and office equipment onto and from trucks for delivery or storage, inspecting products for damage or defects, and managing the storage and distribution of shipments within a large warehouse facility. The technician will also be responsible for sorting and placing materials according to predetermined locations, processing stock requisition orders, and ensuring that products are packaged accurately and delivered in excellent condition. Additionally, the technician will utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate records and perform cycle counts of stocked products. They will also be involved in the outfitting of employees with uniforms and equipment, utilizing production equipment for embroidery and heat press processes. The role requires regular attendance and may involve emergency response duties during natural disasters or other critical situations.
