About the position

The Warehouse Operator 3/Dry Goods Inventory position is focused on maintaining accurate inventory levels for all products and materials within the warehouse. The role requires active engagement in the warehouse environment and proficiency in the BC system to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. The position emphasizes adherence to safety and quality standards while ensuring efficient inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.
• Investigates reoccurring problems related to inventory discrepancies.
• Processes purchase orders, production orders, transfer orders, and inventory adjustments in the BC system.
• Receives inbound products and materials, including work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Understands the physical flow of products through production and how the BC system processes inventory movements.
• Ensures proper bin-to-bin movements in the warehouse.
• Troubleshoots BC-related problems in all departments and contacts IT support if necessary.
• Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
• May lead, guide, and train team members on inventory processes.
• Ensures compliance with established SOPs and guidelines set forth by OSHA, USDA, and SQF.
• Addresses any safety or quality concerns proactively.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
