About the position
As a Warehouse Operator at Axalta Coating Systems, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of our innovative coating products. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and shipping materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.
- Store materials in designated areas according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
