About the position

As a Warehouse Operator at Axalta Coating Systems, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of our innovative coating products. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and shipping materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to our high standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as you will be responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously. In this role, you will also be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the facility. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, which is essential for optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.
  • Store materials in designated areas according to established procedures.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
