About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Staples, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain by working in various areas such as order picking, restocking, bulk selection, and custodial duties. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer orders are picked and prepared accurately and timely while adhering to safety procedures. This position requires flexibility as you may be moved between different roles as needed, contributing to the overall success of the Staples Supply Chain Team.

Requirements

• Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience including fast-food, stockroom, customer service, package handling.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep work area for the next shift.
• Select product, pull, and pack totes, as well as cut cases of merchandise and/or stock product.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside of the facility.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the company's safety culture.
