WAREHOUSE ORDER PICKER - MAYWOOD (GRAVEYARD SHIFT)

About the position

The Warehouse Order Picker at Tapia Brothers Company is responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality in the order-picking process. This full-time position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and involves operating equipment such as electric pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for shipment by pulling orders according to the customer order sheet.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric stand-on pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets and validate that products are selected and damage-free.
• Place products in the dock area and clean the aisle of debris.
• Stack empty pallets and return electric pallet jacks to the charging area.

Requirements

• Able to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Able to work well with others and be a team player.
• Able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
• Strong order picking work experience.
• Able to operate a stand-on electric pallet jack.
• Able to operate an RF scanner.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug and/or alcohol tests.
