About the position

The Warehouse Order Selector Picker position at Topicz involves working in a cooler and freezer environment to accurately select and pack products for shipment. This full-time role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in freezing conditions. The position is part of a dedicated team focused on providing excellent service in a family-owned distribution company.

Responsibilities

• Use a voice picking system to pick product in the freezer and cooler selection zones.
• Rotate product using first in first out method.
• Affix appropriate labels to product and boxes.
• Pack product for shipment in the freezer and cooler selection zones.
• Operate a pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a clean work area by breaking down boxes, sweeping floors, and neatly arranging skids.
• Work in freezing conditions (-10°F) and refrigerated conditions (35°F).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift at least 35 pounds.
• Must meet performance requirements for selection zone.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel regularly.
• Must execute proper lifting techniques.
• Work overtime as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Order picking experience (1 year preferred).
• Experience in cooler/freezer environments (1 year preferred).
