About The Position

The Warehouse Order Selector at Performance Food Group is responsible for selecting and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders in a multi-level rack warehouse environment. This role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts to transport items, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining productivity. The position requires teamwork and flexibility, including potential travel to other locations for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing between 10-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport items within the warehouse.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
• Shrink-wrap pallets for staging at the shipping dock.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
